Mr. Masset is proud to join the International School of Broward this school year. He holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy and graduated from Paris I, Panthéon La Sorbonne, which is the best facility for philosophical studies in the country. Mr. Masset has taught for five years at both the high school and university level. He also taught at a lycée Français in Colombia. Mr. Masset has written and published several educational journals in his field. He is delighted to join our team.

Mrs. Wild received her bachelors degree from the State University College of New York at Fredonia in Sociology and Anthropology; she minored in Medieval English Literature and Geology. She has taken graduate level coursework at the University of Miami. She has been a State of Florida Professionally certified teacher in English since 1987, in grades 6 - 12. She is pursuing an endorsement in Gifted. She has taken Advanced Placement coursework and has published four independent Advanced Placement Syllabi in English Language and English Literature. She is also a published writer of action-adventure science fiction stories in several professional widely read online e-zines. Mrs. Wild hopes to impart her love of learning unto her students.

Ms. Tinaugus received her Master's Degree in French as a second or foreign Language (Apprentissage/Didactique du Français Langue Étrangère et Seconde) at the University of Toulouse and her bachelor's degree in Spanish at the University of Toulouse. She has been teaching French to students ages five through adult at the Alliance Francaise in Costa Rica, St. Lucia, and Puerto Rico since 2010.

Mr. Kiesel holds a B.A. in Education (English and Drama) from Concordia University, Chicago, IL. Mr. Kiesel has been teaching English and Drama for over 20 years at the secondary level, improving student performance as an instructional leader. He has served as the Language Arts Department Chair, an assistant principal, and curriculum development specialist at various schools. Mr. Kiesel has also edited various articles and publications. Mr. Kiesel has earned his ESOL endorsement and received special training in the implementation of the Common Core Curriculum. He is well-qualified by virtue of training and experience to teach English and Drama.

Mr. Grant graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. He then worked for two years in private business as an accountant before becoming an educator. Mr. Grant worked as a middle school math teacher for four years in the Broward County School District. During his time with Broward County Schools, Mr. Grant earned his professional teaching certificate in both Middle Grads Math (5-9) and Business Education (6-12). He also lived and worked for two years as a middle grades math teacher in Cape Town, South Africa at the American International School of Cape Town.

Mrs. Goubert holds a Civil Engineering Degree from Ecoles des Mines and a DEA in Process Engineering. After seven years working in the stock market designing mathematical tools and financial products in France, she moved to the United States with her family. Ms. Goubert is certified to teach mathematics and science for grades 6-12.

Ronnie L. McDougle holds a Master of Arts degree in health, physical education, and recreation from the University of South Dakota. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from The University of Sioux Falls. Previously, McDougle was known in the community as an all-star high school athlete at Blanche Ely High in Pompano Beach before he went on to pursue arena football and teach college coursework at Western New Mexico University. He has also served as a JV Head Football Coach and Track & Field Coach for several years at neighboring schools. Mr. McDougle will be teaching health, physical education, and personal fitness classes to our students in grades 6-12. McDougle cannot wait to get our students focused on improving their overall health and understanding why the body moves in certain ways so that they can properly perform physical fitness skills with safety and concern.

Ms. Maxene Schneider has over 20 years experience teaching and holds a Professional Certificate in mathematics (6-12). Prior to teaching in Florida, she taught math and science in Jamaica and the Bahamas. She has experience teaching at both the middle school and high school levels. Ms. Schneider completed her undergraduate studies at Florida Atlantic University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. She pursued graduate studies at Nova Southeastern University and earned a Master of Science degree in Mathematics Education.

Mr. Johnny L. Flemming II has been actively involved in the sporting arena for over two decades. He has coached at high levels in several sports, including football, basketball, and baseball. Mr. Flemming has been involved in education since 1998 in various roles such as Assistant Athletic Director, Tutor, Substitute, and Classroom Teacher. Mr. Flemming studied at Florida Memorial University in Miami.

Mr. Velt graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors degree in History. He enjoys studying all time periods but Ancient History and Civics are his absolute favorite. He is certified in the great state of Florida in the area of Social Sciences for grades 6-12. He is currently a Masters candidate through an online program with the University of Southern California in a specialization in Secondary Social Sciences. Mr. Velt has experience teaching Middle and High School American Government, Economics and U.S. History.

Mr. Mahoney is a Florida-certified teacher in English, Reading, Social Science, and Exceptional Student Education. He has 13 years experience teaching English and Social Science to middle and high school students. He has spent the last five years teaching in Miami Dade County. He has also worked with the Florida Department of Children and Families.  Mr. Mahoney earned his Bachelor's degree from Nova Southeastern University. He is also a graduate of The Vocational Development Institute of the Caribbean, and Miami Dade College.

Mr. Stone graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Biology with Highest Distinction and is certified in biology and chemistry. Before moving to Florida, he was a science and math teacher for grades 9-12 in Northern Indiana. Mrs. Wright is a contemporary instructor and dancer. She has trained extensively in the genres of ballet, modern, and jazz with an array of accomplished professionals such as: Stephanie Powell from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Sofia Carreras; a pupil of George Balanchine and Alonzo King, infamous contemporary jazz choreographer and Tony award winner Tiffany Billings, and Miami icon, Roberto Dias. Agatha has received the Dramatic Allied Arts Guild scholarship for most talented dancer in LA in 2007 and graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a degree in Art History and emphasis in Performance Art in 2010. Her talents exceed beyond the dance studio and Mrs. Wright has also held positions as Financial Coordinator for In Motion Performing Arts Center and Dance Department Director of Operations at University Center for the Performing Arts.

As a performer Agatha has danced for several companies in Los Angeles to include Intersect Dance Theater, Tiffany Billings Dance Co. and Tongue. She has also taught technique classes for the past 5 years in Modern, Contemporary Jazz and ballet to students of all ages. Her professional credits also include dancing and performing with Brazarte Dance Company and UCPA’s resident contemporary company, Impulsik. Currently she co-directs and serves as a guest choreographer. She also collaborates with the Kravis Center, Dancers Space, and the Duncan Theater in West Palm Beach as guest artist and choreographer. She is the founder of the West2East Contemporary Co-Op; a project based company which emphasizes artistic exchange between artists located both in the West and East Coast. She is the creator of the South Florida Contemporary Concert Series. A dance concert that has brought together some of South Florida’s most established and emerging dance companies and choreographers!

He has taught internationally at both the high school and university level for over 16 years, and has vast experience with the French system. Ms. Taoussi worked at Laboratory of Molecular Ecophysiology as a molecular biologist in Paris France and at Southern DataStream Company in Florida as an intern in agricultural water quality and hydrological engineering. She holds a Master's Degree in Cellular Biology and Physiology from the University of Paris XII Val de Marne in France and a Bachelor's Degree in Cellular Biology and Physiology from the University of Picardie Jules Verne, France. Ms. Taoussi is certified in Biology in grades 6-12 by the State of Florida.

Ms. Ocasio graduated from the New College of Florida with a B.A. in Sociology. Her senior thesis was entitled Como ser Latino en Los Estados Unidos and explored the social and structural forces shaping ethnic identity formation among second generation immigrants from Latin America. As a part of her studies at New College, Ms. Ocasio spent the last year designing and implementing lesson plans to introduce curriculum at the secondary level. Mrs. Padron holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from Academy of Art University along with two Masters degrees in Bilingual/Bicultural Education and Reading Education. She also earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Art and an Associates degree in Music. She grew up in New Jersey where she taught Art, English as a Second Language (ESL), and Bilingual classes for seven years before moving to Florida. For the last 12 years, she has continued to work as a teacher in public schools and as an adjunct professor for ESL and Illustration courses. Mrs. Padron is also a fine artist, a freelance writer and editor of educational material, and a writer and illustrator of children’s books.
