The International School of Broward (ISB) organizes a series of events aiming at promoting a well-balanced environment that defines the cultural profile of the school. Each year, students at ISB participate in cultural, athletic and academic events reinforcing the value of exploring and engaging in activities that will ultimately prepare the students to easily transition into a growing and ever-changing world.

International School of Broward (ISB) and Lycée Franco-Américain will hold their 6th annual walk-a-thon on November 2, 2012 at Vista View Park in Weston. Please join our students, staff and teachers and support this great initiative. Proceeds from the walk-a-thon will go towards school improvements projects. The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) at ISB will host two separate parties for our middle school (9:45—11:30am) and high school (11:30—2:30pm) students. Come celebrate Octoberfest in the school’s cafeteria and enjoy some fun time with your friends.
Attire: Awesome costume! Scary costumes and bloody or fake weapons are not allowed. You can use your imagination and make up your own original costume -- it is your choice!!! The costume party will have music, dancing, and candies.
We will have a costume contest, so tell your parents we need volunteers. This is a day to celebrate life and express yourself through fun disguises!
Cost: $3 per person. You do not need to have a costume to attend the party.
Volunteers needed to help with the Costume Party. Candy donations NEEDED!!! Candy contributions must be without NUTS and without PEANUT BUTTER. Please bring your receipt and receive one hour of volunteer hour for each $10 spent on donated items.
This year, the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is introducing a new fundraising activity to raise more money for the school. Every month, a big prize item will be raffled off on the last Wednesday of the month. Students will have the opportunity to purchase a raffle ticket (s) every day after school in order to participate in the raffle and earn a chance to be a lucky winner. Cool prize items such iPod Shuffle, Portable DVD, Digital Camera, Flat Screen TV, etc. will be raffled off. The cost is $1 per ticket. Want to increase your chances of winning? Purchase 6 tickets for only $5. Let's all play to win big!
In an effort to raise additional funds for the school, the Parent Advisory Board (PAC) will implement the $Buck$ for jeans theme on the first Friday of the month. Students will get the opportunity to come to school wearing a nice pair of jeans and their polo uniform. Student will need to pay $1 to participate in this $Buck$ for Jeans program, no IOU's will be accepted. We ask parents and students to carefully read the following rules as they will be strictly enforced. Students. The jeans MUST be plain and to the ankles. Jean shorts, skirts and skorts are NOT acceptable. Students who do not participate in this programs must come to school wearing their uniform. TOGETHER, we can raise the bar by respecting the dress code policy.
Back by popular demand! The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) will continue to sponsor the Pizza Sale every Friday in front of the cafeteria. Students can purchase fresh pizza with a drink and dessert for a minimal cost of $3.00 if pre-paid by Thursday afternoon or at a cost of $3.50 for same day purchase.
Please help ISB raise more funds by contributing to the BoxTop program. You've seen it a thousand times at your house. Look on items such as Ziploc, cereals, juice products, bread items, pampers, popcorn, etc. You can raise more money by bringing more coupons to the school.

Be my Valentine! PAC will be selling Candy Cane Grams this year again for the low cost of $1. Purchase your special friend a Candy Cane Gram and make his or her day. Pre-order your Candy Cane Gram the week of February 6th - 10th in order to receive your Candy Cane Gram on February 14th in the morning. See a PAC representative to put in your order after school between 3:30pm – 4:30pm.
